MYOB Fiscal Therapy Podcast
Creating a podcast for number crunchers
To increase audience engagement with their brand, MYOB needed to go beyond ‘by the numbers’ thinking for their new podcast.
THE CHALLENGE
Nailing a podcast name and brand strategy for bookkeepers and accountants. Get Accountants and Bookkeepers to listen to a new MYOB-produced podcast by delivering a launch campaign, including a new podcast title and branding.
THE APPROACH
Add value by putting insight and understanding ahead of sales and brand-bragging. With a time-poor audience under constant pressure, it was vital that MYOB became a positive force by providing content that was useful and packed with insight rather than a hard sell. This required creating a naming structure that is not overtly MYOB – and position MYOB as the primary sponsor/producer.
THE OUTCOME
Introducing Fiscal Therapy – exploring some of the best minds in the field of accounting. The result was a name and ID focused on how listening can benefit the time-poor listener by being interesting and entertaining while also giving them a professional advantage. We shaped a look and feel for the show along with a content outline built around deep and meaningful interview sessions that feel intimate and personal.
